Contracted to provide ILS expertise in support of a successful bid for the provision of ATM terminal equipment to the MOD. Working within demanding time constraints, a suitable ILS strategy was identified covering a number of support elements (including ARM), and delivered as part of a contractor presentation to the MOD assessment panel.
Contracted to identify a suitable project methodology to direct, control and inform the activities of the RN Strategic Manpower Review Team, and a change management process to migrate to new management goals.
2PM Technologies Ltd March 2000 to April 2000
Contracted to develop a process model documenting the commercial, service and engineering development activities for a telecommunications company. The model was successfully used to illustrate a business case used to secure initial capital investment.
MOD Ship Support Agency - Frigate Integrated Project Team Oct 1998 to Feb 2000
Contracted to support the Type 22 Platform manager, and then the Frigate IPT Combat System Manager, as the Type 22 Combat System Engineer. Tasked with optimising Type 22 Combat System effectiveness through the development and maintenance of a platform management facility. Responsible for the development of integration management policies, functional design strategies, and technical analysis of specific problem areas (SONAR 2050/CACS Integration; LAX tracking accuracy; DLH/CACS Integration; GSA8/CACS Beacon Tracking; CSH Simulator CACS mode).
